REPAIRS:

Of Clothing: Yes, I do all repairs (including broken zippers and split seams) to clothing and any other items that are in need of help to get them looking new again.
I fix all hems, including those tricky ones on the chiffon dresses with lining.
I can replace the ripped lining in your expensive jacket, missing buttons and hooks and repair frayed button holes.
Plus sew name tags on children's clothing and let down the hems for growing kids.

Of household items and accessories: laying around that you can't part with, can probably be fixed. For example the broken bag, curtains (mend or fix length), cushions, linen, tablecloths, the tabs and hooks, the dog blanket (washed).

Some of my customers have created the 'Anne pile' that grows. They then bring all the pile to me to make useable again.

ALTERATIONS:

All your outfits have the ability to show a Wow factor. They often just need a slight adjustment 'here and there' to be tailored for you.

The difficulties are -
Have you changed weight and are struggling with wrong sized garments that are too expensive to replace?
Do you have clothes in the cupboard that you are not wearing taking up space?
Do you have a special event and the special outfit is not fitting properly?
Few people are the perfect 'rack size' available in the store?

Consider some quick inexpensive alterations to update your clothes:
- Shorten dress and top lengths;
- Shorten sleeves so you will wear more regularly;
- adjust pants and skirts to fit you comfortably;
- Re-designing, altering your clothes can give you a brand new take on your beloved classics;
- The evening dress that you worn once, perhaps can be changed to wear again. I can give you a matching clutch bag from the leftover fabric in length;
- The vintage wedding dress that you like (at a fraction of the cost of other dresses) can be made to fit you perfectly. It will then be 'your' dress.

- You don't have to put up with pants being too loose, too tight or too long;
- Shirts can be slimmed to a fitted modern style;
- Cut long sleeved shirts to short sleeved or run them in;
- Don't wear an ill fitting suit jacket that is a little too long or too wide across the shoulders;
